For the second week in a row, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance versus the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9, the NFL announced today.

After being honored for the same award for his historical performance in Week 8 against the Colts, Roethlisberger completed 25-of-37 passes for 340 yards with six touchdowns and zero interceptions versus the Ravens. Which makes me wonder..”Why is Ben Roethlisberger not in talks for this years NFL MVP”?

Over the past two weeks, Roethlisberger has completed 65-of-86 passes (75.6 percent) for 862 yards with 12 touchdowns and zero interceptions. He set an NFL record by throwing the most touchdowns in a two-game span (12).

Funny thing is, he doesn’t myself as a fan should not care. Because all he and myself, as well as all other Steelers fans should worry about is “WINNING”! That’s all that really matters..and they reason they play the game.

“HELLO..YOU PLAY..TO WIN..THE GAME”! Thank you former NFL head coach, Herm couldn’t have been more spot on. And that is exactly what #7 does..”WIN GAMES” dramatic fashion.

So, congratulations “BIG” Ben Roethlisberger! For receiving the honor(s) bestowed upon ye! #PS4L
