Jaguars Mascot Doomed to be Cursed by Towel

Funny how every team in the NFL can disrespect the Terrible Towel, yet mimic and wave their own snot rags.

The Jaguars have apologized for their mascot using the Ebola epidemic to mock the Pittsburgh Steelers‘ Terrible Towels during Sunday’s game between the teams at EverBank Field on Sunday afternoon.

The Jaguars’ mascot held a Terrible Towel in one hand and a sign in the other. The sign read, “Towels Carry Ebola.”

Pictures of the mascot holding the sign spread quickly on social media sites.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the team apologized for the incident Monday morning.

As for the game itself, the Steelers defeated Jacksonville 17-9 to improve to 3-2 on the season.
